Hi David,
I was just talking about this program today with my partner. Have you had any successful closings with this program? I think it's a great plan, but the appraisal/sales price challenge has caused all the deals I've seen fall through. The banks have been reluctant to agree to the 1%. I'd love to hear some success stories!
Thanks for the invite, we may try to attend.
Julie, in sunny AZ
Julie - We have not had any successful closings with this program. It is a great plan and I think it may be slightly ahead of it's time. The general consensus is that once the tax credit expires and the banks put the huge amount of inventory they've held on the market, supply will once again outstrip demand. This will cause the banks to probably reconsider reducing the sales price by 1%. This is of course pure speculation. Reginald will probably be able to share some success stories he's seen with the program. Hope to see you there!
Julie and David,
We are also signed up with Your Way Home AZ, but haven't had any success stories yet. Please share if you have any, i will do the same. Good luck with your seminar.
According to reginald, they have closed and funded 30 deals, have another 30 under contract and in escrow. They estimate that they will have 50+ total funded by the end of the month.
Thanks for the great comments Kyle!
Very cool! Good luck with this seminar!
great stuff man. Do you have a good turnout planned? I'd be interested to see how to get these deals done if they are indeed getting pushed through and funded.
Here's the latest update on the Your Way Home Program. Per Reginald, there has been 60+ deals funded with another 150 under obligation. They have a total of $20 million to use for this program and anticipate being able to fund about 500-550 deals. They anticipate the program lasting for another 12 months.
